Do Well, Do Good and Achieve More

With more than 100 majors, minors, and concentrations, Illinois Wesleyan University graduates go into the world with the skills employers and graduate schools are seeking.

Innovation drives everything  at IWU. Students combine big-picture thinking from the liberal arts with hands-on experience in business, nursing, the fine arts, and the sciences - preparing for careers that don't even exist yet.

Across schools and colleges, collaboration turns ideas into action - like in the state-of-the-art Petrick Idea Center, opening fall 2026.

  • 98.3% of graduates are employed from class of 2024
  • 12:1 students to faculty
  • 95+% qualify for scholarships or grants
